What you'll be doing
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Monitor video, audio and RF quality of services delivered on the forward and reverse. Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. Perform daily check of RF levels and HE alignment. Verify video and audio levels for processing equipment. Configure and support advanced video equipment (e.g. VOD, controllers, multiplexing, digital transport, edge QAM). Monitor commercial insertion equipment for performance as needed. Periodically test equipment and quality of signal throughout the network. Maintain required logs, records and other documentation in compliance with company and FCC (federal communications commission) technical requirements. Perform HE and facility technical quality assurance (TQA) inspections. Know, understand and follow company policies. Assist with FCC proof of performance testing. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
What your background should be
- 2+ years of HE technician or electronics work experience preferred. Certifications and/or licenses. Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards. Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (e.g. NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
Required Schooling / Training
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent work experience .
