What you'll be doing

Provide industry knowledge to a geographic region in the United States from the Renton, Washington area. Coordinate and lead teams, advise company leaders, and integrate with multiple functions including engineering, supplier management, Legal, government affairs, internal governance, safety and health, environmental engineers, etc. Develop responses and prepare reports to position papers, in collaboration with others, to represent the company with government agencies, customers and industry and trade groups to influence regulatory compliance strategy. Develop, implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs and processes. Develop and provide training and instructions. Evaluate the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations. Develop corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections. Plan and conduct health and safety audits.

What your background should be

Ability to collect, organizes, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the department level. Complete knowledge of occupational health and safety sciences to understand, analyze, and communicate safety and health information and mitigate safety and health risk.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree required. Master degree or PhD degree preferred.
