What you'll be doing

Overall account management responsibility of the company. Manage a disciplined account engagement process which is comprised of goals, strategies to achieve goals, and tactics to support execution of strategies. Stays abreast of regulatory environment and competitive landscape in order to be a resource for sales partners and assist in client communication. Articulate a consistent delivery value proposition of the company as well as own responsibility to tell the story of the company with leveraging of subject matter experts, as required. Supports all aspects of sales process for stand alone business and works in concert with new business managers to drive behavioral business on integrated medical sales. Provides input that positively impacts financial results. Ensures exceptional service and growth through partnership with client management team managing medical and other product lines.

What your background should be

Proficient knowledge (min 3-5 years) in behavioral health managed care business; to include many or all of the following: product knowledge, underwriting, external competitive landscape, marketing processes, sales practices, account management and knowledge of administrative operations. Excellent customer service skills/sales negotiation skills. Strategic planning; ability to grow and retain book of business. Demonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to plan for both the long and short term; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize work. Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners in the organization. Customer focus: ability to meet customer expectations and act with a strong focus on how to deliver. Must obtain necessary licenses. Effective speaking and communication skills; demonstrated presentation skills.

Required Schooling / Training

College degree.
