What you'll be doing
- Managing the day to day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents healthcare needs are met. Ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensuring quality care as residents healthcare needs change. Providing direct supervision of licensed nurses and other resident care staff; conducting associate performance evaluations and training or counseling associates. Monitoring staff in administration of medication. Observing residents health statuses, taking actions to address concerns and reporting all significant changes. Scheduling doctors visits and communicating the results of the visits at client company.
What your background should be
- 1 year of experience as a nurse manager. Current LPN or LVN license in good standing for the state of LA required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task. Flexibility with schedule required to work weekends and be on call. Must enjoy working with the senior population.
