What you'll be doing
- Take initial telephone or email inquiries, enter and track resolution of such service requests. Independently analyze customer requirements and identify appropriate solutions that meet or exceed the expected service levels. Troubleshoot and manage resolution for all hardware, software, or network issues. Use judgment and decision making abilities to resolve or escalate IT service requests to advanced level technicians. Provide remote desktop, peripheral, and software support for user community. Document and instruct in proper setup of workstations and printers; audit hardware settings to ensure devices are maintained properly. Process report requests using approved query tools and procedures. Participate in on-call support rotation as needed. Other tasks and projects as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum two (2) years of computer operations support to include technologies such as Windows desktop operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, Domino/Lotus Notes 8.5 or above, Windows server, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
