What you'll be doing
- Provides personal health care and related services to the client in their place of residence to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patent/family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Performs personal care which includes lifting and transferring patients with assistance to preserve good personal hygiene while maintaining a healthful, safe environment. Performs simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, such as ambulation, ROM, and exercise. Reports changes in patient condition and needs to RN or supervisor. Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Established and maintains a good working relationship with the patient and his/her family members, and co-workers. Understands and conforms to agency policy and procedures. Communicates changes in schedule to coordinators. Performs light housekeeping, simple meal preparation or starts laundry after personal care completed is completed, as applicable.
What your background should be
- CNA preferred. Driver's License.
