What you'll be doing
- The Hospital Based Float RN is an experienced clinician who functions at the competent or higher stage of clinical expertise, supporting various units to achieve quality patient outcomes. Provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently to patient populations with varied and complex needs and to different units/areas as assigned. Supports unit leadership and has responsibility to participate in unit and hospital initiatives and possibly contribute to service line or hospital wide activities. Duties and responsibilities are cross-referenced to the pillars of excellence of the hospital: people (providing direction and plans, leading and managing people, ICARE values); service (patient/customer satisfaction, interpersonal effectiveness); quality and safety (making judgments and decisions); finance (driving for performance excellence); innovation and growth (leading improvement and innovation, role-specific expertise).
