What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for a host/hostess. As a host or hostess, the candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests promptly, cheerfully and courteously. Duties of this position include answering phones, taking, entering and packaging to-go orders, collecting payment, filling beverage orders, assisting service personnel in clearing and setting tables, resolving complaints as they occur, notifying the manager of any complaints received. The applicant will observe and differentiate between monetary denominations.
What your background should be
- A qualified candidate should be able to communicate with guests, have sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area, and meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
