Housekeeping Aid

What you'll be doing: The company is currently seeking for a Housekeeping Aid to perform a full range of light and heavy cleaning duties and routine housekeeping duties most often with minimal supervision. This position is responsible for cleaning outpatient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, shower rooms and other assigned areas. The candidate is responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning light globes and venetian blinds. Other duties will include such as washing walls, windows and ceilings by climbing small ladders, refilling toilet tissue, towel dispensers, moving furniture and equipment.

What your background should be: Must have demonstrate experience in a variety of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping and waxing floors. Cleaning surfaces such as light fixtures, venetian blinds and countertops and cleaning restroom facilities including toilets, baths and sinks. The position requires performance of work which involves light physical effort such as that involved in using vacuum cleaners and dry mops; continually standing, bending, stooping and reaching; frequently lifting and emptying waste baskets; frequently pushing carts loaded with waste and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds. Also performs work that involves moderate to heavy physical effort such as required to move heavy equipment and furniture.
