What you'll be doing

Oversees the operation, maintenance and upgrade of the organization's HRIS systems. Manages data integrity and maintains the various HRIS systems (values, codes, tables, security and reports). Performs annual system updates and other updates as necessary. Oversees HR technology projects, including ensuring quality, timeliness and the proper use of HR information retrieved from systems. Develops data integrity protocols between HR, IT, and finance with respect to the HRIS systems. Analyzes data to identify the organization's needs with regard to HR issues and to support strategic utilization of human resources. Supports the analysis of HR processes and makes recommendations for improvements. Oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and procedures for HR users, to ensure efficient business processes. Leads project teams for integrations, upgrades, modifications and enhancements of all HR systems. Prepares reports for employee data contained in the HRIS systems in response to requests from users within the HR department and users from other departments. Develops management dashboards / summaries of key HR data to support strategic overview of key HR functions. Prepares and submits government-mandated reports including the affirmative action plan.

What your background should be

Six to eight years of related business/system analyst experience; with experience working in human resources required. General knowledge of key HR functions, HRIS, payroll, benefits, compensation and external HR reporting. Previous experience with ceridian systems strongly preferred; experience with comparable HRIS systems required. Experience with success factors, crystal reports and other HR systems and analytic tools a plus. Proven ability to analyze, provide solutions, track issues and resolutions. Demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to work under. Experience developing HR reports and dashboards for management review and use. Ability to research, evaluate and analyze new techniques, methods and procedures. Understanding of the importance of maintaining and protecting employee information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
