What you'll be doing
- The incumbent develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. He/she analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan. Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs. The individual writes directive advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits. The responsible person for this position consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law. Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs. The person oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization. Represents management in arranging all agreements related to employment. Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices.
What your background should be
- At least 3-5 years of human resource management experience is asked. Experience within a manufacturing organization preferred. PHR certificate would be a plus. Bilingual capability would be useful. Strong strategic and process oriented skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid understanding and use of software and analytics to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data; strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with all organization levels formally and informally; and strong leadership behaviors including demonstrated project management, facilitation and influencing skills are expected. The ideal candidate is expected having great sense of urgency and attention to detail; be highly organized.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree is required. Master would be a plus.
