What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will participate in a variety of HR projects to identify and implement new processes and efficiencies across the organization. Project may include but are not limited to: new hire on-boarding, employee engagement survey, course development for enterprise performance and learning, and auditing job descriptions. Assist the HR consultants with the company new hire orientations. Work with HR and personnel investigators reviewing personnel files for security clearances. Support the planning for the employee health fair with the benefits team. Shadow and learn how to create candidate offer letters, candidate background investigations, and pre-employment drug-screen results. Work with social media team to obtain and post one HR/recruiting update to facebook, twitter, and linkedin.

What your background should be

Applicant must have computer systems skills (MS office suite) and the ability to learn HR systems. Having the knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and effective oral and written communication skills are expected by the ideal candidate. Prior internships or business experience preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Candidate should at least be currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in business administration, psychology, human resources, or related field.
