HVAC Technician

What you'll be doing: Work with numerous system parts and mechanisms, to maintain, diagnose and correct HVAC system problems. Replace parts and adjust system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment. Provide preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Troubleshoot units that are not working and replace parts that are defective. Install refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems. Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations. Perform related work as assigned.

What your background should be: Minimum 6 months experience in HVAC industry or trade school. Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade. Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems. Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanics trade.
