What you'll be doing

The imaging tech assistant role perform receptionist duties for patient care or technical area, schedule appointment and follow up with physician to ensure script and other information is finalized. This position prepare patient, monitor and assist with a variety of scan, respond to request for information, maintain files, distribute reports and documents and ensures quality control. Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance of department areas. Assemble and maintain supplies, equipment and instruments, and may transport patients as needed. Also digitizes various radiologic scans and ensures quality control.

What your background should be

Six months experience in a health related field preferred. Prior exposure to a radiology or nuclear medicine department considered a plus.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED
