What you'll be doing
- Ensure that children are safe and supervised at all times. Plan and provide developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for the children that provide them with the secure attachments needed to facilitate growth and development in a variety of areas. Interact with the children in an engaging manner, and support their learning in a positive manner. Ensure that the classroom meets each child social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs; form partnerships with parents of all children, and encourage active parent involvement in the classroom and at center-wide activities and events. Ensure that the classroom remains in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards at all times.
What your background should be
- Child development associate credential required. Minimum of one (1) year classroom experience working with infants and toddlers required. Upon hire, must pass criminal and child abuse background checks required.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED required.
