What you'll be doing
- The clint company is an opening for a structural PCP coordinator to support the production department in San Diego. The PCP coordinator will be responsible for reviewing process control procedures (PCPs), expanded PCPs (EPCPs) and preservation packages. Must also maintain records, prepare reports and attend meetings. May also be required to write and update policies and instructions, schedule and attend QA checkpoints, conduct training, audits and surveillances as directed by the supervisor. Duties will be conducted both on and off-site.
What your background should be
- Must possess navy engineering background or previous direct experience writing or reviewing PCPs or EPCPs. Must be knowledgeable in NAVSEA Items, familiar with navy engineering tech manuals. Welding fabrication documents (NSTP 278, Mil STDs 1689 and 22D) non-destructive testing (NSTM 271 and 2035), and ISO. Require computer skills with Microsoft Office 2007 or later and Adobe Acrobat 9.0 or later. Must be able to type 30-40 wpm. Company preferred few skills like welding experience, main propulsion, and mechanical system experience a plus NBPI and /or NACE qualifications a plus IMA planner experience a plus
