What you'll be doing

Create conceptual designs that meet business requirements and develop detailed plans based on concepts. Work with subject matter experts to determine needs, identify gaps and find the best solution. Use good technical writing skills to develop content and instruction for materials based on design specifications. Collaborate with trainers and SME to create, update and enhance existing content. Perform reviews of the deliverables for completeness, compliance with standards and consistency of design. Create, provide and manage instructional video content for companies client web presence. Write and produce high quality audio scripting for video content. Keep current on emerging web technologies. Assure web-based information is archived for future needs. Consult with the product development and operational teams to develop agile release content for high impact releases, likely including slideshows, talking points or multimedia content. Design document templates and maintain companies branding and styles. Consult with and provide leadership to cross-functional teams to facilitate the creation of content.

What your background should be

Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the development of training programs and technical course materials or equivalent education. Candidate must have work experience and proven successful application of knowledge of learning, curriculum development and technical or non-technical writing. Familiarity with instructional design software and learning management systems. Highly experienced using Microsoft products. Experience using Camtasia or Screenflow and audio editing software. Proven multi-media asset design and delivery expertise. Exceptional communication with peers and leaders. Highly functional organizational skills. Excellent editing and proofing skills. Evaluation skills. Knowledge of content management systems and user experience design. Proven ability to work cross-departmental teams. Proven critical thinking skills. Individual project management capability. Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations and accept feedback.

Required Schooling / Training

Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in instructional design or technology, education, communications, English, journalism or related field.
