What you'll be doing
- We are proud to be one of the countrys fastest growing Christian foster care companies and now we are on the lookout for a competent Intake Coordinator for our department located in Chesapeake (VA, USA). The basic responsibilities and duties of the Intake Coordinator position: - Make the most suitable matches and place children. - Direct the support, recruitment and retentions of foster families. - Performs determinations regarding the rejection or approval of foster home applicants. - May carry a caseload of not more than nine kids. - Take referrals. - Network with the referral sources in order to increase placements. - Schedule and perform preliminary home study of potential foster moms and dads. - Ensure that foster home records are set in accordance with the company policies and state regulations.
What your background should be
- What do we need from you: - Masters of Bachelors Degree in Social Services or any related segment. - One year of prior experience in rendering casework services to kids and families.
