What you'll be doing

The Integration Architect serve as an integration champion across Cerner applications and interfaces providing system, process and problem resolution expertise. In this role candidate will plan, oversee and validate the integration of clinical information application analysis, build and testing processes with other clinical and non-clinical applications across the organization. Candidate will be a member of the project leadership team and assist in the change management processes for the Cerner application. Promote good software design and development practices with a special focus on overall quality and performance. Facilitate a process to define and maintain clinical application integration within and across applications. Ensure adherence to defined processes in the selection, implementation, testing and maintenance of clinical applications. Identify and resolves global design issues. Provide consultation on process design alternatives, supports system validation processes, and provides guidelines for all levels of implementation and system upgrade testing. Provide cross-team and vendor coordination for testing and scheduling upgrades. Identify packages and upgrades needed to maintain the clinical applications or to resolve issues with the software. Coordinate the install of packages in all clinical application environments. Attend vendor-sponsored meetings to discuss system performance and upgrade recommendations. Coordinate with clinical teams to support processes to ensure data integrity within and across applications. Actively participates in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives to ensure integration within and across applications. Provide written documentation and oral presentations to senior leadership and hospital leaders as necessary or requested. Oversee the creation of training materials for the facility for new design or design changes. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a service oriented mentality, exhibit a high sense of ownership over project, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. In particular, candidate must possess. Two+ years of hands-on experience as a clinical application analyst within an information services department of a multi-entity acute care health system. Experience with one of the Cerner nets, preferable CORE or PowerChart/FirstNet, if no PC or FN expertise, wrap-around clinical knowledge of those applications helpful. Working knowledge of CCL is helpful. Strong Cerner troubleshooting skills are required. Ability to speak clearly and lead/direct group of analysts (Net Architects). Demonstrated experience in structured enterprise architecture, including definition of standards and guidelines for application design, implementation and ongoing support across a broad spectrum. Hands on clinical applications management experience. Strong Analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude. Demonstrate self-motivation and goal oriented achievements. Proven team player.
