What you'll be doing
- Interact with customer for the understanding of project requirements. Perform clash assemblage & concept check for new designs. Perform feasibility checks with respect to material, manufacturing & design perspective. Well versed with ASME or relevant standard & methodology. Assist design modification, intelligent design, concept creation while optimizing ease of manufacturing, cost, weight and function. Well versed with design to mandatory regulatory requirements, customer and company specifications. Assist new product designs to prevent and/or solve any engineering issue that may arise. Identify problems and assist solutions. Verify, check and sign off engineering drawings. Assist & guide team for effective, reutilization & cost optimization. Identify quality lags & areas of improvement and assist team to overcome the same. Coordinate with the offshore team. Co-ordinate with Structural group, Suppliers and customer as need basis. Able to perform mentoring role also as per need. Perform design & drawing quality checks on for interior monuments like Galley, Stowage, Tables,etc. Responsible for the final deliveries and quality
What your background should be
- Good understanding about aircraft interiors. Good knowledge on different phases of aircraft development and its deliverables. Good knowledge on Solid Works like part modeling, assembly module and drafting.
Required Schooling / Training
- BE/ M tech aeronautical or mechanical
