International Process Improvement Specialist

What you'll be doing
- The successful candidate for the process improvement specialist will play a key role in organizing and leading the GEMS/GMIO (global expert management services/global medical information and operations) process simplification and harmonization efforts. The position also play leadership role, working with cross divisional partners within the US and across the world, to drive business process improvements by chartering initiatives, leading, mentoring and executing project work. The successful process improvement candidate is one who understands business processes and balances technical expertise with a general understanding of business objectives to provide innovative, efficient solutions. The individual in this position must have the ability to motivate team members, drive change, and facilitate problem-solving discussions. The process harmonization efforts will include review of current processes for consolidation, updates or need for new processes to support GEMS operations. Furthermore, the role will participate in activities that help collaboration of process activities across global medical affairs (GMA) organization. The position will interface with global medical information and operations leadership, with GMA IT, GMA process lead, GMA country operations and other impacted organizations.
What your background should be
- Minimum of three years experience in related field. Ability to understand business processes and balances technical expertise with a general understanding of GEMS business objectives to provide innovative, efficient solutions. Strong analytical skills. Able to turn complex data into simple messaging to inform decision-making. Ability to motivate team members, drive change and facilitate problem-solving discussions. Demonstrated strategic thinking and strong problem solving abilities. Able to lead, collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated project management skills. Proven ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities. Ability to adapt to constantly changing environment. Able to design and configure reports on their own using tools such as MS excel and access. Proficient using MS office applications. Excellent facilitation skills. Ability to make independent decisions. Strong business acumen. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience harmonizing global processes. Experience working with industry regulations.
Required Schooling / Training
- Required BA/BS. Technical or Engineering preferred.
