What you'll be doing

The systems engineering will involve defining, developing, maintaining and advising on the effective use of the company IT architecture. The network engineering team is responsible for LAN/WAN networks, datacenter networking support, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Wireless, and quality of service. The candidate will perform Cisco WAN/LAN networking hardware and IOS installation, configuration, integration, and support including Nexus 7000, Catalyst 6509, 3750, 2900 series, and ACE Load Balancers. S/he is responsible for system and network management activities; problem-determination and resolution; project team participation, and new technology awareness, research and system integration.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 years of systems engineering experience implementing and supporting Cisco networks required. Excellent communication and team skills; flexible and able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner; demonstrate ability to work under minimal supervision required. High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity; ability to design, implement, and support complex wide area networks: excellent understanding of network security required. Networking certifications, good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and to be a team member) required.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in computer science or an analytical discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
