What you'll be doing

Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes. Builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace. Oversees vendor management and conducts vendor negotiations. Collaborates with business and service desk /field services leadership to determine and understand business requirements. Collaborates with business unit and service desk/field services leadership to define and understand business strategy and requirements, collaborates with other functional groups including corporate purchasing, Infrastructure and the business users for DTR roll outs to ensure projects are managed according to schedule and completed according to plan. Advises service desk and field services management on prioritization of work efforts and resources to meet requirements based on knowledge attained from collaborative efforts. Creates and manages budgets for each group under management. Oversees project managers and direct management of large-scale projects to complete efforts based on business requirements. Directly manages highly complex, high risk and highly visible projects. Communicates project status and significant milestones and events to business unit leadership on an agreed to timetable. Directs the activities of the project managers assigned to service desk or field services projects. Establishes workload priorities for service desk and field services organizations. Consults with business unit and service desk/field services leadership to develop best practice solutions to business requirements. Utilizes survey tools, annually at a minimum, to ascertain customer satisfaction levels, and acts on results to continuously improve service and satisfaction levels.

What your background should be

At least 8 years of experience in IT Project Implementations. At least 5 years of experience in IT project implementations.Experience with systems infrastructure and store infrastructure.Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).At least 3 years of experience planning, developing and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.At least 5 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.Willing to travel at least 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt as granted by American Society of Quality.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification as granted by the Project Management Institute.

Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma / GED
