What you'll be doing

Drive end to end management of company release management processes with key stakeholders (Business, IT organization, PMO, etc.).Development and execution of release plans by working with project teams to define sequence, lock down project scope, estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives. Coordinate with Project Managers, Dev/QA teams, Release Managers, Change Manager and Cross Segment Release Managers to address interdependencies across multiple domains and consolidate multiple application releases into larger program releases. Record and manage any deviation and risk impacting the new or changed service and take necessary corrective action. Serve as an escalation point for unresolved release coordination issues and/or issues occurring during deployment. Incorporate metrics, tools and process measurements to review critical success factors (CSFs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and integration and collaboration points (e.g., incident, problem and configuration) and to measure success specific to the execution of the change and release management processes. Work directly with all IT teams to champion awareness and influence acceptance of the change and release processes. Collaborate with other process owners and functional managers to ensure all release related processes, policies and procedures, especially release and deployment management and change management, are followed and continually improved. Manage release related communication to stakeholders, including roadmap updates, release windows, scope changes, procedures updates, pre implementation launch orchestration plans, post implementation reviews, and related meetings. Own release plans, production readiness check lists, risk contingency plans and related release documentation, as well as key release meetings. Oversee all release units and packages are tracked, installed, tested, verified, and/or uninstalled or backed out, if required.

Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills, as well as a high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Will have extensive interaction with internal customers and senior business leadership. Work schedule flexibility required.
