What you'll be doing

The information technology senior auditor is responsible for performing and documenting test procedures related to assigned project audits. Focuses on project audits related to information technology. Assists with some aspects of planning of audits, works at the direction of the auditor In charge. Performs testing procedures for the most critical areas of audits. May lead less complex audit/projects. Provides on-the-job training for staff auditors. Reviews work papers completed by staff personnel. Reviews draft audit findings to business line management subsequent to review by auditor in charge and manage. Updates, revises, and improves existing audit procedures and programs. Assists in providing feedback on the completion of staff evaluations. Assists with various projects as needed.

What your background should be

This job requires 2-4 years of related, strong oral and written communication skills. Familiar with auditing principles and practices. PC skills (MS office suite). Works well independently and with others. Exercises good judgment, analytical analysis skills, problem resolution skills, team working experience, ability to complete tasks timely and accurately. Escalates issues and delays quickly. Ability to multitask and respond to shifting priorities quickly. Ability to build and maintain relationships with peers and management. Familiarity with laws and regulations governing the banking industry.

Required Schooling / Training

4 year degree or equivalent experience
