IT Specialist

What you'll be doing: Under broad direction, oversee and perform advanced system installation, operation, integration and troubleshooting in order to maintain optimum information technology system operation. Design and oversee upgrade and new install of information technology system and service ensuring coordination with cyber security specialist. Upgrade of networking system, information technology system and storage networking. Troubleshoot optimization and performance management of internet protocol, domain name system, dynamic host configuration protocol and routing protocols. Integrate enterprise, regional and local information technology system ensuring current network operation are sustained or oversee their recovery.

What your background should be: Experience with interactive debugging and performance tuning tools in a Java development environment. Experience coding Java in a Java EE environment using struts as a framework. Experience using Java development tools such as rational application developer or Eclipse. Experience preparing technical documentation for a Java program. Experience coding Java programs that use SQL to access a relational database system. Experience using Java EE design patterns and best practices. Experience programming Java Servlets and JSPs.
