What you'll be doing

Evaluates business requirements and prepares detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs. Formulates, defines and documents the functional system specifications. Devises or modifies procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results. Analyzes and revises existing functional documentation. Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems. Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success. Assists in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work. Analyzes, designs and presents the project in an overall end-to-end business and systems context. Drives translation of a business vision / goal into a technical solution(s). In concert with project manager(s), coordinates and promotes cross application planning, management and communication. Collaborates with business and technical resources to define objectives, scope and requirements. Conducts systems architecture and business information flow studies. Enforces and help define, when appropriate standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics in support enterprise wide initiatives. Provides integrated systems planning, coordination and communications in support business and IT sponsored initiatives. Ensures consistency of tools, standards and metrics across project teams. Analyzes and documensts business processes, systems processes and data flow and impacts. Knowledge of systems architecture and infrastructure. Participates in strategic project analysis, design and testing tasks. Interfaces with business users and their representatives on IT projects. Serves as project consultant, applying your knowledge of business operations, analysis, design and applications to system analysis and design. Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems and obtain common understanding, direction and support for problem or opportunity approaches.

What your background should be

2+ years of IT & systems analysis experience. MS visio experience. 2+ years of banking systems, writing technical specifications and interpreting business needs and translating them into technical specs experience. Must have a full understanding of the SDLC

Required Schooling / Training

HS diploma/GED required.
