Responsible for effectively initiating, planning, scheduling, coordinating, facilitating, managing, and delivering all activities for projects and related release initiatives. Function as iteration manager (Agile) focusing on unblocking and facilitating throughput for project team ensuring healthy backlog of requirements. Monitors and reports to IT and project management on the status of project efforts. Encourages collaboration and proactively looks for improvement opportunities to enable collaboration. Proactively manages risk and issues; and mitigation efforts as appropriate. Proactively identifying and removing blockers enabling the project team to achieve their iteration commitments. Leads the retrospective process and encourages team honesty and transparency.
What your background should be
Knowledgeable of complex software development, architecture, and integration project iterations in a fast paced, constantly changing Agile environment. Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Excel, Word. Uses innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems across technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems. Ability to effectively communicate needs and schedules to business stakeholders and technology teams.
