Junior Accountant

What you'll be doing: Prepare basic financial report/schedule as required for financial report on the operation. Forward invoice to designated personnel for review/approval, track invoice approval process, code GL account to invoice and correctly enter it to system. Maintain vendor master file, which include set up new vendor, update exist vendor information and deactivate vendor. Reconcile sub ledger to general ledger monthly. Responsible for monitor and maintain assigned account. Verify validity of account discrepancy by obtain and investigate information from sales, customer service department and from customer. Assist in month end closing, external audit and fill. Perform other duty as assigned.

What your background should be: One to three years of diverse accounting experience. Excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills to work in multi cultural setting. Must be able to work within a team and independently under general supervision. A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre employment tests is required. The incumbent must be able to pass any required drug test and new hire physical examination. The incumbent must be able to maintain complete confidentiality of any information s/he encounters. This work is performed in a business office setting within a distribution and production facility. Work requires sitting for long periods of time and working at a computer screen. Must be willing and able to work with detail. The incumbent must have computer knowledge and skill. Must be able to use accounting software packages, applications within Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
