Junior Devops Engineer

What you'll be doing: Provide production support to enterprise systems including deployment, tuning and troubleshooting. Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; creating preventative action plans. Create and maintain system documentation for design, configuration and administration for the purpose of equipping other support teams peers to provide consistent global support. Maintaining a broad knowledge of operating systems and hardware and making recommendations on improving administration, availability, scalability and disaster recovery of current systems. Coordinating with scrum-development teams for releases of in-house and third party software. Responsibility for software systems administration within a Red Hat Linux environment with some Windows as well.

What your background should be: Experience configuring, installing, tuning and administering Java / JEE application servers (e.g. TomCat, WebSphere, JBoss). Programming / scripting experience in an object-oriented language. Understanding of Web service contracts (XSD / WSDL, Rest APIs, SOAP). 1 to 2 years system administration skills (UNIX and some WINDOWS).
