Junior IT Specialist (SCA Data Entry Operator)

What you'll be doing: The client company is currently looking for a junior IT specialist. The candidate is responsible to assist in providing tier 1 and tier 2, support to users. Work with a ticketing system to add and close out service tickets. Under supervision, assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining systems including hardware, and software. Assist senior technicians with setting up and repairing LAN, BAN, and WAN networks. Assist senior technicians with configuration and set up of desktop workstations. Gain familiarity with new technologies.

What your background should be: Two years of working experience with IT hardware/software/foundational. Must be able to obtain an IAT level 1 certification prior to start: A+, Network+, SSCP, etc. IAT2 & IAT3 certifications are also acceptable. Familiarity with telecommunications concepts such as: IPV6, VLAN, VPN, LAN/CAN/WAN, EIGRP, and BGP preferred.
