What you'll be doing

Take direction from the associate manager and communicating to associates on a regular basis. Support associate manager with day to day operations. This will include completing schedule changes, tracking and monitoring associate attendance, and monitoring associate performance. Identify and actively participate in coaching and training opportunities, compiling documentation on an as needed basis. Assist in developing weekly team schedules to provide full coverage of workload allowing sufficient time to meet SLAS while considering overtime and budget constraints. Actively participate in staff department meetings, providing valuable and inspiring feedback, assisting with the meetings as necessary. Continuously monitor associate performance, taking appropriate action with coaching and feedback opportunities. Provide status updates and back up documentation to the associate manager. Foster a team environment, communicating with associates, peers and leaders in a positive and supportive manner to seek and suggest resolutions for challenges.

What your background should be

This position requires minimum 1 year of bookkeeping and/or supervisory experience. 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office environment. Advanced level of applied knowledge with Microsoft Office programs. Ability to work independently. Analytical and detail oriented. Possess problem solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate clearly and calmly on the telephone, email and in person. Ability to effectively work with strict deadlines, in a fast paced, high volume environment. Intermediate level of applied knowledge with Microsoft Office programs.
