What you'll be doing

Provide instruction and guidance to customer-service team members (including intake CSRs, showroom CSRs, documentation staff, and confirmation staff). Monitor and review the work of others. Verify reimbursement criteria met. Audit orders to ensure procedures have been followed and documentation is complete and accurate. Gather documentation in response to external audit requests. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Monitor work and workflow to ensure for timely customer service. Reassign work as necessary. Respond to questions and resolve complex order issues not resolved at the CSR II levels or I. Process work orders to ensure for proper delivery of the product to the customer. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum three to five years of prior customer service durable medical equipment order processing experience. Knowledge of durable medical equipment products, supplies, and services. Knowledge of federal and state regulations as relate to the provision of home health service. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, requirements, and reimbursement criteria. Knowledge and application of HCPC and ICD-9 coding.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
