What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate activities of employees to facilitate and expedite the project schedule. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met; ensures quality standards. Provide input to production manager on personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, hires and terminations of employees, conferring with operations manager to ensure production and personnel problems are resolved. Analyze and resolve worker problems. May assign work to employees using material and labor requirements. Ensure that operations conform to local, state and federal safety laws and regulations. Monitor and control material waste. Deliver material shortages to job.
What your background should be
- Minimum three (3) years industry experience of custom mirrors and frameless shower enclosures required. Knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws. Ability to handle several projects concurrently; ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships. Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry practices, materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of mirrors and shower doors.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED.
