What you'll be doing

Lead teacher in your classroom act as the principal of your classroom. Coach teaches teachers to problem solve, gain confidence, and learn through modeling, feedback, recognition and other means. Keep children safe supervision and ensure children closely supervised, and child supervision records used properly. Comply with and help teachers learn and follow licensing regulations related to childcare in your location. Create an unrivaled education experience. Work with an interdisciplinary team to implement IEP or IFSP for children with varying abilities. Communicate regularly with parents to build meaningful relationships. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum 5+ years of early childhood education experience preferred. Must meet state education criteria CPR and first aid certifications, or willing to obtain speak, read, and write English fluently basic technology skills (e.g., email). Have active child development associate (CDA) credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements. Approved trainer, or familiarity with adult education training required. Demonstrated ability to partner with center leadership demonstrated effective communication skills required. Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, courses or other professional growth opportunities required.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in early childhood education strongly preferred.
