What you'll be doing

Reporting to the regional head of professional services for lending. Assisting in technical requirements sessions to understand the scope for each interface from a technical perspective. Assisting in and training the system analysts to bring them up to speed on data mapping activities. Reviewing the technical specifications prepared by the system analyst. Serving as a technical liaison point to the client and system analysts. Developing custom or extending standard reports using the company software data model. Assisting clients in the development of customized functions using the SDK tool. Collaborating with project management ensuring that technical consultants are suitably trained and are capable of being billable on projects and cross-trained where possible. Contributing to improving the delivery process, methodology and quality according to market and company standards. Presentations to clients, particularly on PS (typically when the sale is nearing completion). Providing input into the development of standards, tools, processes, documentation and templates to standardize and improve the execution of the technical consultants tasks and to aid training of new consultants.

What your background should be

At least 3+ years of experience as a senior consultant in the same technical area. Strong experience in operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux), as well as network configuration, management and monitoring, software architecture. Relational Database Management : MS SQL, Sybase or Oracle. Web application server, and J2EE oriented technologies (Websphere, Jboss). Additional spoken and written language Spanish (etc) a plus. Experience in loan syndication markets a plus. Must be client-focused, well spoken, have good documentation skills, be detail oriented, have good organization skills, have ability to multi-task. Experience with MS Office required, specifically Excel, Visio.

Required Schooling / Training

BS degree.
