What you'll be doing
- The company is looking for Leadership Development Manager who will always keep the customer first in mind, insist on continuing to learn every day, thrive in a highly collaborative work environment and when presented with a challenge, do not quit until they find a solution. As a Leadership Development Manager, candidate will identify, design, and implement various management and leadership training programs as well as individualized talent solutions to increase leadership effectiveness. This role will act as a management and leadership subject matter expert who collaborate with HR and the business to identify and implement appropriate solutions, approaches, and methodologies to accelerate leadership and management capabilities. The Leadership Development Manager will translate business requirements and talent requirements into appropriate programmatic and individualized talent solutions. In addition, to design, development and delivery, this person will monitor and evaluate the impact/value of talent programs and their ROI.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 60 college credits required or military experience or technical/trade school certification. For internal candidates applying for other opportunities within the organization, the minimum education requirement for college is strongly preferred, but not required depending on relevant work experience. 4 to 8 years of design, development and/or delivery experience in the areas of leadership and management. Must have the ability to understand business objectives and their implications for talent. Ability to conduct needs analysis to identify leadership and management skill gaps and needs. Ability to design and implement key development processes and programs with linkage to talent platforms. Ability to conduct complex process facilitation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with senior management and external vendors on business and culture change related issues. Ability to coordinate with and provide direction to training designers and delivery specialist. Experience with virtual facilitation and tools preferred. Ability to grasp new ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-pace environment. A self-starter, self-motivated, driven and resourceful. Program management and implementation experience. Knowledge of MS Office, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Industrial/Organization Development preferred
