What you'll be doing

In this unique role with dual responsibilities (both banking and investments) you'll go above and beyond for company customers helping to secure their financial futures. As a member of the branch banking team, your role requires flexibility to meet a variety of customer needs with a focus on sales. You'll concentrate on developing meaningful relationships with both new and existing customers by understanding their financial needs in order to recommend and open the appropriate retail and investment products and services. Drive sales and success through your service: ensure a positive customer experience and achieve sales and referral goals through an expanded product set that includes banking, insurance and investment products. Proactively seek ways to develop and expand customer relationships in order to contribute towards branch and your own success. Utilize your dedication and drive, insightful listening skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to achieve all levels of customer, branch and personal goals. What your background should be

All external applicants must at a minimum possess an active life/health insurance license or series 6 license. Licenses are required to discuss and sell investment or insurance products with potential or existing customers. All internal applicants must meet minimum sales performance requirements. All applicants must successfully pass the Kehrer-Limra aptitude test to qualify (not required if successfully passed a life/health or FINRA license exam in the past 5 years). Self study is required to obtain all required licenses: life/health insurance, series 6 and series 63. Sales and service experience required with a minimum of 2 years preferred. Strong listening skills, excellent customer service skills, comfortable asking questions and identifying needs to expand the customer relationship. Ability to understand how to present features and benefits of products and services to customers with differing needs. A track record of working effectively in a team environment and building solid relationships. Ability to work branch hours, which may include weekends and some evenings. If selected, must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma required. College degree in business related field preferred.
