What you'll be doing

Provide therapeutic individual, group, and family session. Complete assessment on all clients. Provide case management. Document all services provided in a timely manner. Participate in treatment team meetings as necessary. Work cooperatively as a member of the team with other staff, parent, and foster adoptive, and biological and outside professional. Make effective use of supervision. Ask question, request feedback, and make use of guidance and direction. Show initiative in recognizing and solving problem. Adequate understanding of counseling technique, general client dynamic, and information related to a variety of presenting problem, diagnostic criteria, and potential intervention. Show initiative in professional development. Follow through on request made by supervisor and treatment team.

What your background should be

Two to three years of related clinical experience and training. Eligible licenses and certifications include licensed professional counselor; licensed master social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, nationally certified counselor. Valid state driving license is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required. Strong interpersonal skill desired. Excellent customer service skill is preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Master degree in human services or related field.
