What you'll be doing
- Responsible for startup, line operation and shutdown of all products associated with membrane manufacturing including ancillary equipment with minimal to no supervision. Diagnose root cause analysis and repair electrical or mechanical equipment and process problems such as: computer operated process lines, pneumatic and electrical operated control systems, and pumps. Prepare and complete all documentation related to membrane manufacturing following cgdp. Compile and review all membrane manufacturing batch documentation prior to submission to qc. Perform all necessary membrane quality test procedures per procedures. Correct visual defects of membrane through troubleshooting the process, finding root cause and implementing appropriate corrective actions. Update all documentation for operation of membrane manufacturing equipment as needed. Use spc to make decisions to control the process. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Identify and implement process improvements. Provide guidance and training for lower level personnel. Communicate relevant information to incoming shift, management and support staff. Input information into company data system (mapic, mmis, mp2 etc) and prepare reports.
What your background should be
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to stand or squat 50% to 100% of the day. Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical and control systems and equipment as typically acquired by 4-5 years related industry experience. Ability to diagnose and repair difficult mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and/or other machine control problems. Knowledge of frequency drives and relationship to the process. Must be able to accurately and consistently document work performed. Knowledge of spc. Ability to use a computer and appropriate software. Knowledge of cgmp and hazmat handling requirements.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate degree.
