What you'll be doing

Manage ERP material parameter. Coordinate schedule for supplied material at the time purchase order is placed. Verify quantity supplied and delivered. Respond to engineering change order by revising existing purchase order. Maintain P.O. schedule and open P.O. report. Coordinate supplier RIA/NCR response through MRB/quality with functional area of the organization. Facilitate creation of part kits based upon released engineering. Resolve issue in receipt routing preventing part from being released to stock or production. Communicate priority to receiving inspection personnel. Communicate with supplier and internal customer regarding delivery date, quality, etc. Monitor inventory level and complete transaction, including setting specific order quantity, part movement between vendor and company and ageing control. Assist in resolving problem with supplier invoice as required. Administer supplier agreement to include long term agreement, blanket purchase order, Kanbans, etc. Maintain procurement metrics such as supplier schedule, customer requirement, item or service purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventory. Present supplier key performance indicator to program management. Discuss defective or unacceptable good or service with inspection or quality assurance, program management, operation, vendor, and other to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. Participate in streamlining purchasing operation to improve performance.

What your background should be

Required ERP material parameter (periods of supply, min/max inventory levels, lead times, etc.). experience. Must have good communication skills. Basic computer skills. Advanced in Microsoft suits like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
