What you'll be doing

Under the supervision of the RN, office supervisor, physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant, responsible and accountable for achieving and maintaining proficiency in providing competent, appropriate, and safe nursing care to patients. Provide direct patient care in collaboration with patients, families, peers, nurses, physicians and other health care professionals for a specific patient population. Provide nursing care in accordance to the developmental age of the patient. Ensure his/her clinical behavior is consistent with the Kentucky LPN scope of practice and the mission, philosophy, goals. Ability to perform: audiometric exams, pulmonary function testing, phlebotomy, urine drug testing and breath alcohol testing (if has certification). Demonstrate a commitment to accountability and growth.

What your background should be

One year prior experience in nursing. Current state licensure for practice in Kentucky. Current certification in basic life support. Basic computer skills required. Demonstrate excellent customer service.

Required Schooling / Training

Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing.
