What you'll be doing
- Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed. Perform plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and JACUZZI tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC and fittings. Reset, replace breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards. Complete preventative programs on all systems such as HVAC, boilers, pool certification etc. Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings, and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting. Maintain the unit readiness, ensuring everything is in working order. Assist with unit inspections. Perform other duties as needed.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience. 2 to 4 years of painting experience. HVAC certification, CPO certification, EAP certification preferred. 1 to 2 years of technical training. 1 to 2 years of basic landscape training. HVAC training is preferred. Plumping training is preferred. Training in all hand and mechanical tools. Safety training experience is preferred. Basic pc skills are preferred.

- High school or equivalent is preferred.
