What you'll be doing
- Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed. Perform plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC and fittings. Reset, replace breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards. Complete preventative programs on all systems such as HVAC, boilers, pool certification etc. Competency in plumbing, electric and HVAC repairs with minimal assistance or supervision. Perform other important duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred. Two to four years of painting experience. HVAC certification, CPO certification, and EAP certification. One to two years of technical training. One to two years of basic landscape training. HVAC training is preferred. Plumping training is preferred. Safety training experience is preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school or equivalent preferred.
