What you'll be doing
- This position is responsible for completing maintenance work orders in a professional manner as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Assume a quality level of personal and professional accountability for one own performance. Maintain objectivity in working with residents, families, staff, and customers. Become familiar with the policies and procedures that is associated with company. Comply with these policies and procedures in carrying out all aspects of the job. Be directly responsible and reports to the maintenance manager comply with work schedule. Call the program to report absence or lateness of work complete daily work assignments. Attend periodic staff meetings and mandatory in-service training. Uphold the missions, values and philosophy for company and uphold the general standard of professional conduct that relates to the position. Assume on-call coverage for emergency maintenance responsibilities. Able to work with power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Proficient performing desk and furniture repair. Proficient performing surface preparation and paint. Perform walkthrough inspections of sites, report and address repairs in a timely manner. Perform assigned projects while working with other or independently. Other tasks as assigned.
What your background should be
- Valid driving license is required. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have at least 5yearrs of maintenance technician experience. Proficient knowledge in relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures installation and maintenance. Ability to work cooperatively with other trades analytical and problem.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma/GED.
