Maintenance Technician

What you'll be doing: The client company is currently looking for a maintenance technician. The candidate is responsible for overall maintenance of multiple company facilities. Assist in securing contracts for scavenger, pest control, snowplowing, landscaping, etc.. Perform physical site inspections of company facilities. Assist in monthly lock cuts, painting, and general carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Assist with fire tests and annual inspections. Responsible for understanding how to properly operate and maintain (or coordinate the maintenance of) all mechanical systems on site.

What your background should be: Applicant should have janitorial experience, carpentry experience, and general maintenance experience. This position requires maintenance and minor repair ability. Qualified candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand on his or her feet for long periods of time. This position requires local travel with mileage reimbursement.
