What you'll be doing
- Analyzes technical and administrative programs supporting mission requirements and determines program effectiveness and efficiency. Analysis requires consideration of information that may be conflicting, incomplete or difficult to document. Participates in studies or surveys, analyzing findings and making recommendations that support assigned mission. Recommendations may affect the way programs operate within the agency. Represents assigned programs at meetings and working groups within agencies; provides advice and guidance on the interpretation of administrative and management directives and instructions; researches regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures to develop recommendations to supervisor and managers. Ensures timely dissemination of information on a wide variety of matters. Provides management and administrative support to major projects and initiatives. Serves as a point of contact for various office HR and management issues to include formal reorganization proposals and related personnel actions. For vacancies filled at less than the full performance level of the position, duties will be developmental in nature.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field. Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Advanced skills in Microsoft suits (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- Master's or equivalent graduate degree.
