What you'll be doing
- Assist the director of investments in formulating investment objectives and developing asset allocation and investment manager structures and guidelines. Conduct effective governance of external fund managers, evaluating performance and formulating recommendations. Lead RFI/RFP processes for investment manager selection. Conduct quarterly manager scorecard & strategy reviews. Perform liquidity forecasting; manage in-house portfolio of Government securities & money market funds. Execute corporate share repurchase transactions and agreements. Evaluate complex transactions, investment structures, accounting, and tax issues. Assist with operational details regarding cash transfers and internal settlements. Provide research and analytical support of employee investment plans (defined benefit & defined contribution), on a global basis. Prepare and conduct presentations for senior management.
What your background should be
- 3-7 years of applicable experience, preferably obtained through corporate Treasury or financial services roles (such as investment consulting or institutional asset management). Experience formulating investment objectives & developing asset allocation plans, manager structures and guidelines. Strong interest in & understanding of modern portfolio theory, risk management, and related concepts.
