What you'll be doing

Develop market benchmarking methodology and conduct market benchmarking to assess company's benefits and recognition market competitiveness. Identify trends and assess relevance to company's local business/talent pool. Ensure global rewards policies/programs are aligned with relevant global rewards trends. Work closely with the global retirement plans manager on reviewing retirement plans in line with global principles to ensure that meet both the long term cost structure of the business and needs of the colleagues. Develop global benefits strategy and principles on key benefits (medical, life/accident coverage, wellness, etc.) Manage vendor relationships (global vendor and US exchange vendor) and issues with global benefits provider and ensure that relevant benefits processes are developed, communicated and implemented. Day-to-day and overall health and welfare benefit program management for specific plans available to U.S. and international colleagues. Develop and deliver colleague benefit on-site training and prepare written colleague communication. Keep local HR informed on design of new benefits or benefits changes to meet talent needs while ensuring cost effective benefits structure. May need to partner more closely globally with ops and in works council locations. Perform necessary global rewards analytics to help ROI on rewards $ and leverage on analytics to help the business make performance-driven decisions. Facilitate review process with rewards global governance committee. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What your background should be

4-6 years experience in benefits administration. Proficient knowledge of benefit design and set-up, administration, and regulations related to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA. Self-starter with initiative with strong customer/client orientation; ability to facilitate discussions to resolve issues, obtain consensus and drive to conclusion. Experience with HRIS preferred. Other languages preferred but not required. Experience with benefits design and administration for non U.S benefits (global benefits) preferred. 1-3 years of management experience preferred. Experience as an HR generalist is a plus.
