What you'll be doing
- Provide and promote among CSM best in class customer service in all interaction and communication with dealer partners and internal associates. Build and cultivate relationships with FCA employees, DRMS and dealership personnel in order to support Chrysler capitals growth targets for the commercial portfolio. Create and review monthly sales projection goals for all CSMs and monitors national trends as a whole. Implement training and provide professional development and promotion of best practices with CSM during ride-a-longs. Review CSM and market performance via phone one on one session monthly or more frequently on an as needed basis. Facilitate, coordinate and execute national team meetings as needed. Analyze all reports in sales force, Cognos, and other corporate reporting systems to assist and fully understand CSM and market performance. Attend, participate, and communicate in dealer sales meetings and events as needed. Train, mentor and develop CSMs for additional responsibilities and management opportunities in the future. Review and respond to communications (email, phone, instant message, and text) in a timely manner to ensure issues are handled promptly. Organize and coordinate conference calls for regional, state specific and other segmentations of the team. Create additional and original training material for specific region to supplement information and materials provided by corporate. Organization and implementation of the hiring of additional sales staff on an as needed basis. Analyze and decipher market trends and production for the purposes of territory realignments as needed. Approve and monitor all time off requests, work to ensure consistent coverage at all times for dealers and annual CSM objectives with associates to ensure proper direction. Monitor, review and approve CSM MasterCard budgets to ensure company compliance. Review and calculate CSM monthly bonus totals. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Seven years of outside sales/marketing and account management experience within the last seven years. Seven years of prior experience within sub-prime auto finance industry, including thorough knowledge of all operational areas within Chrysler capital. Minimum three years of management and leadership experience. Current valid state driving license required. Prior experience in a dealership strongly preferred. Proven management track record; ability to develop management and leadership skills in direct reports.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
